Cindy is still in ICU, she had some reaction to some medication, so it is wait and see when she will get out of ICU.
Also, some not very good news. Some test results are in and there was infection on the shunt tube ends that were cut off during surgery and also in her spinal fluid.
We know God is in control and we need to keep her in our prayers.
Good night, Kathy

Hi Kathy and everyone,
Just wondering over here what that means that there is infection in the spinal fluid. Do they treat that with antibiotics? How do they take care of that? Also wondering if Cindy is able to rest and if they are able to make her comfortable with the pain meds. We are thinking of her all the time...and the rest of you too.

That's weird! I wrote that last comment two days ago. I wonder where that came from? Anyway, we continue to pray for rest and for healing and strength for Cindy. It sounds like it's going to be baby steps for awhile. We will try to come visit again soon if you feel she is up to visitors still. I hope the vomiting goes away VERY soon. I leaned on her just a little tad too hard when I was hugging her the other day and that hurt her, so I can't even imagine what throwing up feels like! I'm sure that hurts her so badly in her incision spot!
I'm glad that family could spend the day with her yesterday. Thinking of you all!
